Penalty for false statement

Any owner who willfully provides false information in the application of registration or furnishes false information or makes a false statement or undertaking or suppresses a material fact with the intention to mislead the prescribed authority, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees or with both.
