Failure to comply with requisition

1. (1) Any person who fails to comply with any of the requisitions made under the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder, shall be liable to be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with a fine which may extend to twenty-five thousand rupees, or with both.
2. (2) Any person who knowingly obstructs or hinders any officer of the Fire Service or any other person acting in accordance with the orders of any authority under this Act, in the exercise of any power conferred by this Act, shall be liable to be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with a fine which may extend to twenty-five thousand rupees, or with both.
