Preventive measures

Preventive measures.—

1. (1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, require the owner or the occupier or both, of any building or premises or class of premises, which in its opinion is likely to cause a risk of fire, to take all such fire prevention and fire safety measures as may be specified in the notification.
2. (2) The fire prevention and fire safety measures as referred to in sub-section (1), shall be such as may be prescribed.
