Powers of Director to prosecute or cause to be prosecuted

Powers of Director to prosecute or cause to be prosecuted.—

1. (1) The Director may, in the name of the Delhi Fire Service, institute, conduct or defend any suit or other proceeding for any purpose necessary for the proper discharge of his duties and functions under this Act.
2. (2) The Director may, in his discretion, cause to be prosecuted any person who has committed any offence under this Act or the rules made thereunder.
