Statutory text

(1) The University shall establish a General Fund to which the following shall be credited, namely:-(i) All fees which may be charged by the University; (ii) All sums received from any other source; (iii) All contributions made by the sponsoring body; (iv) All contributions/donations made in this behalf by any other person or body which are not prohibited by any law for the time being in force. (2) The moneys credited to the General Fund of the University shall be applied to meet all the recurring and non-recurring expenditure of the University. (3) Any surplus shall be utilized for the purpose of development of the university as per the provisions of (1) (i) above. (4) Any investment of the funds of the University shall be made in such mode and manner as may be prescribed.
