Statutory text

(1) The admission of students to the private university shall be made on the basis of merit. (2) The government may prescribe the percentage of reservation for admission. (3) The fee structure shall be decided by the committee as provided under Section 8. (4) The university shall provide for scholarships for meritorious students. (5) The admission process shall be transparent. (6) The university shall maintain the record of students admitted. (7) The university shall ensure that the facilities provided to the students are as per the prescribed standards.
