Inspection of colleges or institutions

(1) The Council may appoint such inspectors as it deems fit for the purpose of inspection of the colleges or institutions, in the manner as may be prescribed. (2) An inspector may inspect any college or institution and may report to the Council in such manner as may be prescribed. (3) The inspectors shall be entitled to examine the records, accounts and other documents of the institution and shall submit their report in the manner as may be prescribed. (4) The Council shall consider the report of the inspectors and may take such action as it deems fit, in accordance with the rules. (5) The Council may withhold the recognition of the institution if the standards are not met. Income of the Council shall consist of:-(i) Fees received from the practitioner; (ii) Grants received from the State Government, if any; and (iii) Any other sums received by the Council.
