(1) Any order or orders, issued by the State Government under section Withdrawal of orders

46 of the Police Act, 1861, extending its operation form time to time to the territories of the State of Punjab, shall be deemed to have been withdrawn on and with effect from the date of commencement of this Act.

1. (2) Notwithstanding such withdrawal, anything done or| any action taken or any proceeding instituted by virtue of the order or orders, referred to in sub-section (1), shall be deemed to have been done or taken or instituted under this Act.
