Power to inspect, summon, and seize documents.—

1. (1) The Registering Authority or any officer authorised by it may enter the premises of any lender or person believed to be engaged in lending activities, and inspect or demand production of records and documents to ensure compliance with this Act.
2. (2) The authorised officer may seize any documents deemed necessary for examination, investigation, or legal proceedings. Such documents shall be retained only for such period as necessary for these purposes.
3. (3) The Registering Authority or authorised officer may summon and examine any person connected with a lender if believed to possess relevant information.
