Short title, extent and commencement

- (1) This Act may be called the Azim Premji (Assam) University, Act, 2025.
- (2) It extends to the whole of Assam.
- (3) It shall come into force at once.
- (4) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Assam Private Universities Act, 2007 the provisions of that Act shall not apply to this philanthropic funded non-for-profit
