General powers of the Board

Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Board shall have the powers,

1. (a) to constitute advisory committee to advise the Board;
2. (b) to engage suitable consultants/experts or persons having special knowledge or skills to assist the Board in the performance of its functions;
3. (c) subject to the previous permission of the Government, to delegate any of it's powers generally or specially to any of its committees or Officers;
4. (d) to enter into and perform all such contracts, as it may consider necessary or expedient, for carrying out any of its functions;
5. (e) to do such other things and perform such acts as it may think necessary or expedient for the proper conduct of its functions and carrying out the purposes of this Act.
