Appointment of Socil and Water Conservation Officer

(1) The Government may by notification appoint a Soil and Water Conservation Officer for each district for the purpose of this Act. (2) The Soil and Water Conservation Officer shall execute the plans and perform such other functions as may be prescribed by or under this Act. (3) The Government shall provide a multi-disciplinary organisation drawn from the disciplines of forestry, agriculture, land records, statistics to assist the Soil and Water Conservation Officer in formulating and making arrangement for executing the plans.
