Function of the Board

(1) The functions of the Board shall be :- (a) to lay down policies for soil and water conservation; (b) to devise ways and means for co-ordinating and periodically reviewing the work under plans and for eliminating the difficulties in relation thereto; (c) to scrutinise the progress made under the plans; (d) to perform such other functions as may be specified by or under this Act. (2) The Board shall prescribe the procedure including quorum for the conduct of its business.
