Substitution of section 8A

For section 8A of the Principal Act, the following section shall be substituted, namely:- "Section 8A. The Rector. There shall be a Rector. The Rector shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by Statutes.".
