Amendment of section 4

In the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 4,-

1. (a) in sub-section (1), in clause (iii), for sub-clause (e), the following sub-clause shall be substituted, namely :- "(e) industrial consultancy service and expansion programmes for the different faculties of the colleges.".
2. (b) in sub-section (2), to item (xviii), the following proviso shall be added, namely:- " Provided that the Government may issue such orders as they may deem fit with regard to levy of fees and other charges for admission of students in colleges".
