This Act amends the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Act, 1972. It adds industrial consultancy and extension programmes to the University's functions and lets the Government decide the fees charged for admission to colleges. It also changes the University's Board of Management and Academic Senate, amends its Schedule, and includes transitional provisions.
