Chapter XXIV INSPECTION OF PRISONS
Statutory text
- (1) Inspection conducted by senior prison officers - The Head of Prisons and Correctional Services shall have a prison inspected by an officer of appropriate rank at periodic intervals, as may be prescribed under the rules; and
- (2) Every inspection shall be followed by a written report to the Officer-in-charge of the Prison and to the Head of the Directorate of Prisons and Correctional Services.
