Chapter XIII PRISONERS WITH CHILDREN
Statutory text
- (1) Male Prisoners may keep their male children and Female Prisoners may keep their male and female children inside the prison until the child attains the age of six
- (6) years.
- (2) A child living with his father/mother in a prison may be provided with health care and such other facilities, as may be prescribed under the rules.
- (3) Specialized programs for the children whose mother/ father is confined in prisons and crossed six
- (6) years of age and requires such programs may be taken up.
