Chapter XII PRISON REGIMEN FOR WOMEN PRISONERS
Statutory text
- (1) When a woman prisoner is found to be pregnant at the time of admission or later, the medical officer shall report the fact to the Officer-in-Charge. Necessary arrangements shall be made for providing her medical care and diet as may be prescribed under the rules.
- (2) The Postpartum/lactating women prisoners shall be provided such medical care and diet as necessary, as prescribed under the rules.
