Provided that nothing contained in this sub-section shall apply to any fishing vessel that do not confirm to the specifications as notified by the Government from time to time.

Protection of action taken in good faith Protection of action taken in good faith.

1. (1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government or any officer or authority for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
2. (2) No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Government or any officer or authority for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or any rule or order made thereunder.
