Disposal of seized fish

Disposal of seized fish:

1. (1) Where any fish is seized under this Act, the authorised officer may, if the fish is subject to speedy and natural decay, sell the fish and deposit the proceeds thereof in the prescribed manner in the office of the adjudicating officer.
2. (2) If no such sale is effected, the authorised officer shall produce the seized fish before the adjudicating officer within twenty-four hours of such seizure.
