Amendment of section 53.—In section 53 of the principal Act,—
- (i) for the words "every Panchayat Samiti shall have a President", the words "every Panchayat Samiti shall have a President and a Vice-President" shall be substituted;
- (ii) for the words "The President shall", the words "The President and the Vice-President shall" shall be substituted.
