Amendment of section 24.—In section 24 of the principal Act,—
- (a) in sub-section (1), for the words "every Gram Panchayat", the words "every Gram Panchayat, excluding the Gram Panchayat constituted for a village which is a notified area and for which a Notified Area Committee is functioning," shall be substituted;
- (b) in sub-section (2), for the words "every Gram Panchayat", the words "every Gram Panchayat, excluding the Gram Panchayat constituted for a village which is a notified area and for which a Notified Area Committee is functioning," shall be substituted.
