(i) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the local limits of jurisdiction of the University (hereinafter referred to as the territorial limits of the University), shall extend to the whole of the State of Tripura;
(ii) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, any institution or college within the territory of the State Tripura, imparting education in health sciences, may be associated in any way with or be admitted to any privilege of this University or may be affiliated under this University subject to the condition that, direction in this regard is issued by the Central Government, in writing, to the effect that, the proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 7 of the Tripura University Act (Central Act No. 9 of 2007) shall not apply for that institution or college.
