The Tripura University of Health Sciences Act, 2026
The Tripura University of Health Sciences Act, 2026, establishes a dedicated university in Tripura to regulate and advance education in health sciences, including modern medicine, dentistry, Ayurveda, and paramedical fields. It serves as an affiliating body, responsible for setting academic standards, designing curricula, conducting examinations, and overseeing research across affiliated institutions. The Act defines the governance structure, including the roles of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and various administrative boards.
