The Pro-Chancellor

(i) A person of eminence will be appointed by the Executive Council and the Dhamma Council, with approval of the Trust, as Pro-Chancellor for a period of three years. (ii) In the absence of the Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor, if present, shall preside at a meeting of the Court. (iii) The Pro-Chancellor shall, by virtue of his office, be from research background.
