ADVANCE TO MEMBERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING OR PURCHASING A READY BUILT HOUSE

Statutory text
- (1) There shall be paid to a Member (which expression shall include the Chief Minister, other Ministers, the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, Leader of the Opposition and Government Chief Whip) by way of a repayable advance such sum of money not exceeding Rs.10.00 lakhs (Rupees ten lakhs) for construction of residential building including purchase of land or purchasing ready-built house.
- (2) The amount of advance shall carry simple interest at the rate of five percent per annum.
- (3) Other terms and conditions of advance shall be such as may be prescribed.
