Penalty for making or recovering trade allowances.

Whoever, in contravention of the provision of section 38, makes or causes to be made or recovers or causes to be recovered any trade allowances, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which ma; extend to one month, or with -fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.
