Making or recovery of trade allowances prohibited.

No person shall make, or cause to be made on his behalf or on behalf of any other person, or recover, or cause to be recovered on his behalf or on behalf of any other person, and trade allowances in any market or market area in relation to any transaction made or proposed to be made the market area in respect of any agricultural produce. Explanation :-For the purposes of this section "trade allowance" means anything realised in cash or kind by the purchaser from the seller in any transaction relating to agricultural produce either by deduction from the price agreed upon or otherwise.
