Amendment of section 41 of Assam Act I of 1929

10. At the end of the proviso to section 41 of the said Act the following words shall be added:— "nor shall it exceed in the case of an under-raiyat holding immediately under a raiyat the rent paid by the latter to his landlord by more than a hundred per cent, and in the case of an under-raiyat holding mediately the rent paid by his under-raiyat landlord to the latter’s landlord by more than twenty-five per cent."
