Short title and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the Goalpara Tenancy (Amendment) Act, 1943. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Provincial Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. (3) It shall have the like extent as the Goalpara Tenancy Act, 1929, hereinafter referred to as the said Act.
