- (1) Where it is expedient to do so, the Government may, in the public interest and in consultation with the Public Analyst, by notification in the official Gazette, add to, or omit from the Schedule any item of non-biodegradable waste and thereafter the Schedule shall be deemed to be amended accordingly. a.
