Objects of the Institute.

The objects of the Institute shall be:-

1. (i) to create a centre of excellence for providing medical care, educational and research facilities of high order in the field of Medical/Dental Sciences and such other Super-Specialties as may develop in future, including continuing Medical/Dental Education and hospital administration;
2. (ii) to develop patterns of teaching in Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate Level, so as to set a standard of Medical/ Dental Education;
3. (iii) to provide for training in Para-Medical, Nursing, Dental and allied fields;
4. (iv) to function as a referral hospital / General or Dental Hospital;
5. (v) to provide for Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate teaching and conduct of research in the relevant disciplines of modern medicine and other allied sciences, including inter disciplinary fields of Physical and Biological Sciences.
