Statutory text
- (1) The Governing Council is empowered to make any and all rules governing recruitment / promotions / retirements / pay and allowances of employees of the Institute.
- (2) The appointments and promotions of teaching faculty shall be governed by norms prescribed by Medical Council of India for such posts.
- (3) The Governing Council shall seek prior approval of the State Government for implementation of the rules so prepared.
