Limitation for recovery proceedings

No distraint shall be made for the recovery of any sums due to a Board under sections 138 and 139 of this Act after the expiry of six years from the date on which such sums became due. The Board may within three years after the expiry of the said period of six years institute a suit for the recovery of such sums.
