Pending proceedings, etc.

(1) Anything done or any action taken or any proceeding pending under the 1998 Act immediately before the 23rd day of August 2000, which is not consistent with the provisions of the repealed Acts and the rules, etc. (revived by section 3) shall abate. (2) No legal proceeding or remedy in respect of right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired or accrued or incurred under the 1998 Act which is not consistent with the provisions of the repealed Acts and the rules, etc. (revived by section 3) shall be instituted, continued or enforced.
