Faculties

(1) The University shah coisist of thd following Faculties, namely :-- (a) 'kaculty of Bas2 Medical Sciences ; (b) Facutlyof Medicine, Paediatrics and Medical Specialities ; (c) Faculty of Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology ahd Surgical Specialities ; (d) Faculty of Community ~ealth; Social Sciences and History of Medicine ; (e) Faculty of Dentistry, pharmacy and Nursing ; and (f) sqch other Faculty as may be prescribed by the statutes. (2) The constitution and functions of the Faculties shall, in all other respects, be such as may be prescribed by the regulations. (3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (2), the Stand&tg Academic Board may, on the recommendation of the Governing Council, appoint any teacher of the University as a member of a Faculty.
