1. Short title and extent

3. Power to enter upon and inspect irrigation-works

4. Collector considers measures should be taken to protect the railway he shall cause plans and estimates of the necessary measures to be prepared

5. The Collector shall cause copies of a vernacular translation of such statement to be fixed in some conspicuous place or places in the village or villages to which the said works belong.

6. Collector may cancel or modify the order

7. If the order is not cancelled by the Collector to require landholder by notice to execute the measures

8. The notice shall contain a copy of such order.

9. If landholder fails to execute the measures the Collector shall report to the Central Government for directions as to such measures

10. After execution of measures, notice to be served on landholder to pay cost of measures
