Mode of payment of fair rent

In so far as the fair rent is in kind, it shall be payable in the case of wet lands, in kind, or if the landlord and the tenant so agree, in money; and in the case of garden lands or of dry lands other than dry lands in which pepper is cultivated as the principal crop, in money.
