Procedure on receipt of report

Upon the receipt of any such report the Magistrate shall subject to the provisions of section 8 of the

Tamil Nadu Preservation of Private Forests Act, 1939, take such measures as may be necessary for the trial of the accused and the disposal of the property according to law.
