Repeal of corresponding laws

Any person aggrieved by an order under clause

1. (a) of sub section

1. (1) of section 3 or under sub-section
2. (3) of that section in regard to the sanction or permission referred to in that clause or sub-section may, within two months of the receipt of such order, prefer an appeal in writing to the State Government. The State Government, shall pass such orders on the appeal as they may think fit. 5. [Omitted]
3. (1) The State Government may, by notification in the Fort St. George Gazette, prohibit or regulate the alienation of any forest or any portion thereof.
4. (2) Any alienation in contravention of any such notification shall be null and void.
