Houses to be furnished and maintained at the cost of Government in certain cases

(1) Where a Minister, the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker, a Parliamentary Secretary, the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly or the Chief Government Whip in the Legislative Assembly occupies any house provided by the State Government free of rent, such house shall, at the cost of the State Government, be furnished and maintained and be provided with such amenities as may be prescribed.
