Relinquishment of salaries and Allowances and cancellation thereof

(1) Any person entitled to any salary or allowance under this Act, may at any time during the term of his respective office, relinquish the whole or any portion of such salary or allowance payable to him. (2) Any relinquishment made by any person under sub-section (1) may be cancelled by him. (3) Every relinquishment or cancellation made under sub-section (1) or sub-section (2) shall be made in writing and shall take effect on the date specified therein.
