Right of Nambudri male to marry in his community

Statutory text
Notwithstanding any custom or usage to the contrary every major male Nambudri shall, subject to the provisions of section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Marumakkattayam Act, 1932, and any other law for the time being in force, be at liberty to marry in his own community.
