Chapter VII MISCELLANEOUS
Statutory text
- (1) The Government may, by notification, appoint a Commissioner to exercise general control and superintendence over the competent authorities and the Collectors in performance of their functions under this Act or the rules made thereunder.
- (2) The powers to be exercised and the functions to be performed by the Commissioner shall be such as may be prescribed.
