Penalty for failure to furnish information

If any person fails to furnish any information or to produce any document requisitioned under sub-section (1) of section 9 within the time specified in the requisition under that sub-section or within the further time, if any, allowed by the record officer under that sub-section, he shall be punishable with fine, which may extend to one hundred rupees.
