Penalty for obstructing persons exercising power under section 49

Any person who wilfully obstructs, or offers any resistance to, or impedes or otherwise interferes with the Director or any officer exercising powers under section 49 or any assistant accompanying the Director or such officer while exercising such powers shall be punishable, on conviction before a Magistrate, with fine which may extend to one hundred rupees.
