Where a body of persons contravenes any provision of this Act or rules made thereunder or notification or order or direction issued under this Act or the rules made thereunder, all the persons comprising the body of persons are liable for prosecution unless they establish that they inspite of due care and diligent conduct could not prevent the contravention. Explanation: - In this section, body of persons means a company, a partnership firm or an association whether registered or not.
