Authority for Disaster Management

For the purpose of carrying out the objects of this Act, the following shall be the authorities, namely:-

1. (a) The State Government;
2. (b) The Sikkim State Disaster Management Authority,
3. (c) Heads of Government Departments,
4. (d) Commissioner/ Secretary, Disaster Management Department,
5. (e) District Magistrate/ District Collector in charge of a District;
6. (f) Sub-Divisional Magistrate;
7. (g) Block Development Officer;
8. (h) Local Authorities.
