Duties of voluntary agencies

All voluntary agencies, including Non Governmental Organizations, which desire to participate in Disaster Management activities, may.

1. (a) participate in capacity building, vulnerability reduction programmes and training activities;
2. (b) assist in relief operations under the supervision of the State Government, the Commissioner and the District Collector.
3. (c) provide such assistance to the Commissioner and the District Collector as may be necessary for effective Disaster Management.
